46115 Scots Guardsman (as The Girl Guide) on The Yorkshire Scot

(Liverpool Lime Street - St Helens - Eccles - Manchester Victoria - Rochdale - Brighouse - Leeds - York and return)
The trip was organised to celebrate 100 years of the Guiding movement
and carried a headboard "St. Helens Girl Guiding Express".
{On the first Saturday in September 1909 a few groups of determined girls 'gatecrashed' the first
Boy Scout Rally at Crystal Palace in London and demanded 'something for the girls'.
Just months later the Guide movement was formed - From the Girl Guiding website.}
The loco also ran with nameplates of classmate 46168 "The Girl Guide"
